Operation Freedom Force Partners
What are Operation Freedom Force Partners? They are the essential link in spreading the vision and rallying the call to action in local communities and towns. Becoming a Operation Freedom Force Partner is easy...take a look at the following five Partnership areas and commit in any way you can. Big or small, EVERY action and contribution counts.
01 Stand Up for Freedom
With over 300,000 restavek children in Haiti, it’s time for action!
You are declaring God’s Word: “He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives . . . to set free those who are oppressed” (Luke 4:18 NASB).
By standing up for FREEDOM you give a voice to those who have NO VOICE.
02 Give to Freedom
No amount is too small. Please give to Operation FREEDOM: Rescuing Servant Children in Haiti. Send monies through . . .
Your local Church of God women’s group
State/regional Women’s Discipleship Office
International Women’s Discipleship, PO Box 2430, Cleveland, TN 37320-2430
Online at www.womenofpowercog.org
Be sure to specify that your contribution is to be credited to OPERATION FREEDOM (project # 020-8098) a Church of God Women’s Discipleship Women with a Mission (WWAM) project.
03 Pray for Freedom
Pray daily for . . .
A hedge of protection around the volunteer workers and staff who are helping to eradicate the restavek system
The poverty-stricken Haitian people
Those who condone and practice restavek that their hearts will be turned toward God
Abundant OPERATION FREEDOM funds
The government in Haiti. The government has acknowledged that the restavek system is a form of child slavery and has made the ownership of restaveks illegal. Pray for them to enforce their law and cease the toleration of this practice.
04 Fast for Freedom
Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free . . . ? (Isaiah 58:6 NIV).
Sandra Kay Williams, International Women’s Ministry President, is asking every one who will to fast one, two, or more meals every Tuesday for the duration of our 2012-2014 WWAM project, OPERATION FREEDOM.
Money alone cannot break the yoke of slavery. Only the power of God can change the hearts of those who condone and practice restavek!
05 Walk/Run for Freedom
Organize a 5k walk/run to . . .
Bring awareness to the realities that modern day child slavery exists
Advocate eradicating restavek child slavery
Join with others in “exercising” our right to FREEDOM
Raise funds to help support OPERATION FREEDOM: Rescuing Servant Children in Haiti.
Organizing a walk/run is a great way to feel part of the “bigger picture.” Please check out our website for additional promotional materials, ideas and ways to conduct your walk/run!
I (Lorna) was involved in a 5k walk/run. I felt a sense of accomplishment for completing the walk and also felt really good about being able to raise funds for the charity that organized it.
